Scottsdale and Phoenix Arcadia residents are invited to be part of the Fight Roof Rats – The Citrus Dropoff Program happening on Saturday, January 31, 2015. The event will be from 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon at the Elk’s BPOE Scottsdale Lodge Parking, 6398 E. Oak Street, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Scottsdale and Phoenix Arcadia residents have teamed up in removing citrus from their area properties because it will help the control of roof rat population.

Attendees are encouraged to drop off edible fruits from their backyard to the said location.

Eliminating such food source will help keep the roof rat population at a manageable number. More so, removing their source of food allows these animals to starve and look for food elsewhere.

The event will be recurring every Saturday until Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Grab this chance and take advantage of this free service.

For more details, feel free to visit http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov and http://www.roofrat.net/.
