b2ap3_thumbnail_City_of_Phoenix_logo.pngKids are invited to attend the Archaeology for Kids Summer Camp on Monday to Friday, June 9 to 13, 2014. The camp is from 8:30 in the morning until 12:00 noon at the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park located at 4619 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, Arizona.

Get to experience and explore the world of archaeology by taking part in a simulated excavation of a Hokoham pit house. Participants will get to learn how to identify artifacts in the field and find out how archaeologists use these objects to learn about past cultures. Go ahead and go into the research labs and collections storage of the museum.

Admission is $100 for the week. Be sure to grab this opportunity and let the children unleash the explorer within.
